We have received an application from South Lakeland District Council for Rayrigg Meadow, Windermere to be designated as a bathing water under the Bathing Water Directive (76/160/EEC, revised by 2006/7/EC). Evidence in support of the application is set out in the consultation document, which also shows the location of the bathing area.
