2030 Strategic Framework for International Climate and Nature Action
Overview
The UK's 2030 Strategic Framework on International Climate and Nature Action will define the UK Government’s vision for our long-term role in the world tackling climate change and biodiversity loss.
The 2030 Strategic Framework seeks to take an integrated approach to climate change mitigation, adaptation and resilience, and the protection, conservation and restoration of nature.
Why your views matter
In seeking the achievement of these outcomes, we face a set of strategic choices that will guide our international action over the next decade. In making these choices, we wish to seek the views of a diverse range of stakeholders with an interest or role in protecting our planet.
We are issuing a call for views to inform our strategic thinking on the international actions we prioritise over the next decade.
The UK government recognises that biodiversity and climate change policy areas are devolved within the UK. The views of the devolved governments, in areas where this Strategic Framework might intersect with devolved interests or responsibilities, will therefore be sought and considered.
What happens next
Thank you to all those who responded to this call for evidence.
The views provided will be used to shape and inform the 2030 Strategic Framework for International Climate and Nature Action.
