Consultation on Extending the UK REACH Transitional Registration Submission Deadlines

Audience
This is a public consultation, and we welcome all views. The primary audience is those who will be involved in the registration process including the chemical industry, downstream users of chemicals and its stakeholders. We also welcome views from NGOs and other interested parties. The questions are presented in a way to accommodate both a general audience and stakeholders with specialist knowledge in the regulation of chemicals.

This consultation will run for 8 weeks. The consultation opened on 14 July 2025 and closes on 8 September 2025. Please note, any responses sent by post must arrive at the above address by the closing date of the consultation 8 September 2025 to be counted. Any responses received after this date will not be analysed.
After the consultation
After the consultation, a summary of the responses to this consultation will be published and placed on the government website at www.gov.uk/defra. Responses to this consultation will be reviewed and considered in the future policy development of the regulations.
