Overview

The purpose of this consultation is to seek views on proposals to strengthen the economic link condition in order to increase benefits of UK fishing quotas across the UK and, in particular, to coastal communities. 

Why your views matter

The Government's 2018 Fisheries White Paper "Sustainable Fisheries for Future Generations" contained a commitment to review the ecomomic link with a view to strengthening it.
