Review of Local Air Quality Management: Changes to guidance and reporting

Closed 21 Jan 2016

Opened 26 Nov 2015

Overview

This consultation invites views on Government measures to improve delivery of Local Air Quality Management (LAQM) in England. These detailed proposals are a result of the last LAQM review consultation concluded in January 2015.

The consultation is aimed principally at air quality practitioners in England, but we want to hear views from as wide a range of interested parties as possible.  The Technical Guidance referred to is a UK-wide document, for which the draft version has been updated in collaboration with the Devolved Administrations.  The Mayor of London is responsible for air quality in the capital; therefore the Greater London Authority is outside the scope of this consultation and will be producing separate reporting and guidance.  London Boroughs should not respond to this consultation.

A summary of responses will be compiled based on comments submitted during the consultation period.
