Changes to Animal Welfare in Transport Regulations

Overview

We are currently seeking views on intended changes to legislation relating to the official controls conducted by the Competent Authority regarding animal welfare during transport

We would value views from key stakeholders so that we can mitigate any risks or unintended impacts.  If you would like to see, and respond to, the consultation in Welsh, please download the Welsh consultation document found at the bottom of this page and email to aw-transport@defra.gov.uk  by 21/10/2022.
